He enjoyed commendable social reputation as a philanthropist and social reformer. Besides his expertise in managing a wide range of business establishments, he had about four decades of experience in the field of education. This expertise and quest for furthering excellence in professional education persuaded him to start the dental college & hospital with the sole aim of imparting quality education in dentistry and also to provide good health and well being to all sections of the society, as the primary well being of an individual starts with good oral health.
